Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
• Perform armed patrols on foot and/or in a vehicle throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorizations, and report suspicious, hazardous, and/or policy-related issues in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random inspections of facilities, grounds, and sensitive areas, remaining prepared to support incident response, access control, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in security-related work, law enforcement, military police, or military service is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
