S: - This position analyzes customer demand material requirements and orders material from suppliers and schedules material to be built on the production floor. - Works directly with Suppliers and other Magna plants on material requirements. - Review materials planning for the product groups assigned, issue purchase orders to suppliers, send forecasts, and daily tracking of inbound material ensuring on time arrival. - Establish relationships with suppliers, hold supplier meetings, effective communication reviewing open purchase orders and delivery schedules. - Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize conflicting tasks. - Participate in daily production meetings to communicate current inventory levels, schedule compliance, and other operating parameters. - Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Identify and escalate production issues that may impact production output or quality. - Participate in continuous improvement initiati...Material Planner, Planner, Production, Manufacturing
