Under direct supervision, the Junior Soil Evaluator performs assigned inspections, evaluations, and complaint investigations for the Bureau of Regional and Laboratory Services Onsite Wastewater (OSWW) program. Develops advanced knowledge and understanding of the OSWW program. Responsibilities:Conducts or participates in initial evaluations of proposed sites for the purpose of issuing onsite wastewater permits. Permits or participates in permitting suitable sites according to state regulations and policies. Requests second opinions from senior inspector as required.
