The technician trainee under the guidance of the Supervisor, Department Director/ Manager, and Medical Director performs the duties necessary to give patients adequate ventilation by use of medical gases and breathing equipment in accordance with age specific and culturally appropriate patient care guidelines. Minimum Requirements. Education. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled as a full-time Respiratory Therapy program. Experience. Must complete form in house training in Respiratory therapy Procedures. Licenses/ Certifications/ Registrations. Current Certification in BLS Preferred Requirements. Preferred Education. Have completed a semester of clinicals through Respiratory Therapy Program. Preferred Experience.
