The Players League is a rapidly growing summer collegiate baseball organization focused on player development, community engagement, and building modern, entertainment-driven baseball experiences. Our mission is to create opportunitiesfor players, aspiring sports professionals, and local communitiesby delivering a high-level on-field product and a dynamic, fan-focused atmosphere off the field.

Position Overview

The Players League is seeking motivated, high-energy individuals to join our team as General Interns. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in the sports industry by working directly in the day-to-day operations of a collegiate baseball team. Interns will be exposed to multiple areas of the organization and may focus on one or more of the following departments based on interest, experience, and team needs.

Internship Areas May Include

• Sports Management / Assistant GM Team operations, staffing, logistics
• Ballpark Operations Facility setup, event execution, game day logistics
• Baseball Operations / Statistics Game scoring, roster tracking, data management
• Social Media Content creation, live posting, digital engagement
• Marketing & In-Game Entertainment Promotions, fan engagement, theme nights
• Public Address (PA) Game announcements and in-game communication
• Sales Ticket sales, group outreach, sponsorship support
• Merchandise Retail operations, inventory, fan interaction
• Broadcasting Live stream production, commentary, media support

• Assist with game day operations and event execution
• Support assigned department(s) based on role and team needs
• Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Collaborate with team staff to ensure smooth operations
• Contribute to a positive and energetic ballpark environment

Qualifications

• Interest in sports, business, marketing, communications, or related fields
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Availability for nights, weekends, and all home games
