Location: Greenville, SC

Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 Base + Commission (OTE: $100,000+)

Position Type: Full-Time Field-Based Sales Role w/ Car Allowance Inlcuded


Our client, a leading provider of commercial door, dock, and access solutions, is seeking a Commercial Door & Hardware Sales Representative to support and grow business throughout the Greenville, SC market and surrounding territories.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys building long-term customer partnerships. The company is open to cross-training the right individual, but they are highly interested in candidates with prior experience in the commercial door, hardware, or related construction/building products industry.


About the Opportunity

This role is focused on developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and providing customized commercial door and hardware solutions across industrial, commercial, healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution environments.

The ideal candidate is a consultative salesperson with strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the drive to manage their territory like their own business. This position offers long-term growth potential with an established industry leader and includes hands-on cross-training from current leadership.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and grow an established territory throughout Greenville and surrounding areas
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Conduct onsite customer visits and facility evaluations
  • Recommend customized commercial door and hardware solutions
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, takeoffs, and project scopes
  • Coordinate closely with internal operations, service, and project management teams
  • Build relationships with facility managers, contractors, operations leaders, and decision-makers
  • Stay current on product offerings, safety standards, and industry trends


What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of outside B2B, industrial, or construction-related sales experience
  • Prior experience within the commercial door, hardware, dock, access systems, or related industry strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to develop business and close sales opportunities
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical products
  • Experience managing a local or regional sales territory
  • Prospecting and cold-calling experience preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, proposals, or estimating software is a plus
  • Must reside locally within commuting distance of Greenville, SC (no relocation assistance available)


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $50,000 – $70,000
