Job Details

The Prototype Development Toolmaker supports Product Development Engineering (PDE) by machining, modifying, and assembling high-precision prototype components and tooling. This role requires strong interpretation of engineering drawings, sketches, and 3 D models, along with hands-on expertise in CNC and manual machining. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing work in a fast-paced prototype environment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, GD&T, and 3 D CAD models to produce prototype parts and tooling Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components Perform manual machining operations using mills, lathes, and grinders Operate specialty equipment including water jet and wire EDM machines Manufacture and modify prototype tooling, fixtures, and components to support engineering development and testing Support low volume component machining to support initial product launch....Toolmaker, Development Engineer, Support Engineer, Development, Product Development, CNC, Manufacturing
