A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech Job Details: • Work 3rd shift Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM • Patient ratio of 2 patients per technologist during night shifts • Block scheduling type with 1 hour orientation • Required certifications: BLS and ARDMS • Must have at least 2 years of experience and 1 year of EPIC experience • Must have pediatric and transplant ultrasound experience • Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Perform pediatric emergent cases including appendicitis, pylorus stenosis, intussusception, and torsion • Conduct NICU neonatal head ultrasounds and occasional breast ultrasounds from ER • Handle obstetrics primarily first trimester from ER, with occasional 2nd or 3rd trimester limited exams • Support transplant program for kidney, liver, and rarely pancreas transplants • Use GE E10 ultrasound equipment in exam rooms, GE Fortis portable unit, GE S8 portable unit • Utilize Trophon 2 high level disinfection equipment • Document using EPIC and Phillips VUE PA systems • Use Pyxis medication system • Wear hunter green scrubs • May be required to float to other units based on census needs • Complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours (up to 16 billable hours) • First-time travelers accepted if they have required pediatric and transplant experience Facility: This major healthcare facility features a comprehensive transplant program specializing in kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants.
