The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for supporting productivity improvement activity within Sunland's sites. Supervisory Responsibilities:None. Primary Duties:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Industrial Engineer performs the following tasks:Manage the design and implementation of supply chain solutions for both new and existing clients in warehousing, distribution, in-plant logistics activities, value added services, and inventory management. Responsible for managing productivity improvement activities at the two or more 3 PL facilities. Areas of emphasis will include auditing facility processes and procedures, defining material flow and layouts, developing and implementing work procedures, method analysis and maintaining the validity of job standards. Define site processes and procedures that support time studies, layout evaluations, and capacity analysis for existing operations, as well as future proposal opportunities.
