A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: MRI Tech Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • No call requirements • Outpatient facility setting • Work with Siemens Magnatom Altea 1.5T MRI equipment • 1 year of EPIC experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, OR ARRT registered in MRI, OR ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification • Perform MRI procedures on adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients • Handle daily census of approximately 24 patients • Perform various MRI procedures including brain, spine, extremities, abdomen, pelvis, and specialized imaging • Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required • Skills needed include gradient echo imaging, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, MRA, MRV, and post-processing techniques • 8 hours of orientation provided • Previous charge experience preferred • Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma level experience preferred Facility: This imaging center specializes in advanced diagnostic imaging services, providing comprehensive outpatient MRI services to the community.
