Job Details

Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals (stairs, railings, catwalks, etc.) using industry-standard software. Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into accurate shop and field drawings. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure drawing accuracy and clarity. Review and modify drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and markups. Ensure drawings are completed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Maintain organized project files and collaborate on schedules to meet production deadlines. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the detailing process. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Steel Detailer. Proficiency with one or more of the following software tools: Tekla, SDS/2, Advanced Steel, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
