Industrial Electrician

BridgeWorks is currently hiring an Industrial Electrician. This is a DIRECT HIRE position working M-F, 7am-3:30pm. Must be able to work nights, weekends and be on-call when needed. Starting pay is $28-30/hr, then once fully trained and certified on all the electrician SOPs, pay increases to $35.

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the facility, with a specific focus on conduit work, motor controls, and high-voltage systems. The position plays a key role in supporting the reliability and safety of operations throughout the facility.

Install, bend, pull, and secure EMT, rigid, flexible, and other conduit types, selecting appropriate fittings and supports for each application.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to execute installations and complete repairs accurately.

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment including motors, motor starters, transformers, VFDs, PLCs, and lighting systems across 24V, 110V, 240V, and 480V circuits.

Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and assist shift mechanics on electrical and general maintenance tasks.

Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and testing, documenting equipment condition and recommending corrective actions.

Log all work time, materials, and findings in MP2 or equivalent maintenance management software.

Mentor less experienced mechanics and support new hire onboarding in accordance with MOPs and standard maintenance procedures.

Serve as a Hazmat Operations-level responder and uphold all site safety protocols.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment and be available for overtime and weekend call-backs as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certification, or formal electrical training preferred.

Hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.

Proficient in conduit installation, electrical troubleshooting, and high-voltage systems (up to 480V).

Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor conditions.

Skilled with hand and power tools; technically inclined with strong problem-solving ability.

Familiarity with MP2 or similar CMMS platforms.

Clear communicator written and verbal with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.

Dependable, on-site presence required; consistent attendance is essential.
