Description:

A well-established and growing real estate law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Residential Closing Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned real estate paralegal to play a key role in supporting the continued success and expansion of a respected firm.


Direct Hire | Full-Time | 100% Onsite


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workflow by reviewing task reports and prioritizing closing activities
  • Coordinate residential real estate closings with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title professionals
  • Prepare complete and accurate closing packages with minimal supervision
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all parties throughout the closing process
  • Communicate effectively with clients and closing agents; respond promptly to questions and issues
  • Collaborate with internal team members to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately
  • Review title commitments to confirm title is clear of liens, judgments, and encroachments
  • Obtain, review, and verify all required payoffs and invoices
  • Prepare, review, and finalize Closing Disclosures and related closing documents
  • Ensure all required loan documents are collected and ready for funding
  • Coordinate fund disbursement at closing, including wire setup, and prepare files for post-closing
  • Verify recording documents are complete and accurate prior to e-filing and submission for recording


Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential real estate closing paralegal
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Qualia and/or SoftPro required
