Our services include assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, etc., as well as daily tasks such as housekeeping, cooking, and companionship. We're looking for an on-site recruiter who understands that hiring caregivers is not transactional staffing. It's high-trust talent selection in a service environment where compassion, reliability, and judgment directly impact lives.

What You'll Own

This is a true ownership role—not a requisition processor.

You will:

  • Own and build the caregiver recruiting strategy end-to-end
  • Design and optimize sourcing across Indeed, social, and community channels
  • Shape hiring standards that directly impact care quality
  • Influence employer brand, messaging, and recruiting systems
  • Operate with visibility into leadership decisions and company growth


What You'll Actually Do:

Build the Pipeline

  • Develop multi-channel sourcing strategies
  • Optimize job postings (Indeed, Google Jobs, Apploi, HelloHire)
  • Source through social media, referrals, and local partnerships

Select the Right People (Critical)

You will evaluate candidates beyond resumes—focusing on:

  • Compassion and emotional intelligence
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Communication and relationship-building

You'll conduct structured interviews and make hiring decisions with the same level of discernment you would use for your own family

Own the Hiring Experience

  • Manage the candidate journey from first touch through offer
  • Deliver a fast, professional, high-touch experience
  • Align hiring with real-time client needs

Drive Retention (Not Just Hiring)

  • Lead onboarding and orientation
  • Set clear expectations from day one
  • Conduct structured 90-day check-ins to improve retention

Strengthen the Workforce

  • Build a quarterly caregiver training program
  • Support caregivers with resources and communication
  • Coordinate payroll questions and system updates

Manage Performance

  • Track key recruiting metrics:
  • Applicant flow
  • Conversion rates
  • Time-to-fill
  • 90-day retention
  • Continuously optimize based on data

Build the Employer Brand

  • Create compelling recruiting content
  • Develop local partnerships
  • Position the organization as a top caregiver employer in the Upstate

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (healthcare, home care, or high-volume staffing preferred)
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Experience with ATS platforms (Apploi / HelloHire preferred)
  • Social media sourcing experience
  • Highly organized and self-directed
