Position Overview

Spur Logistics is seeking a motivated

Hiring & Recruiting Intern

to support and improve our hiring process from start to finish. This role is ideal for students interested in

recruiting, talent acquisition, or people-focused business roles

This is a

hands-on internship

where you'll actively help source candidates, communicate with applicants, and improve hiring systems—not just assist with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with

    candidate sourcing and outreach

    through platforms like Indeed and Handshake

  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with candidates and managers

  • Manage and track applicants throughout the hiring process

  • Support job postings and optimize listings to attract strong candidates

  • Communicate with candidates (text, email, phone) to schedule and follow up

  • Assist with onboarding coordination for new hires

  • Participate in job fairs and recruiting events

  • Help identify ways to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience

  • Maintain accurate and organized applicant records

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office preferred

  • Experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles

  • Strong people skills and confidence communicating with others

  • Interest in a future career in recruiting or talent acquisition
