Change a life right from home.

Are you looking for more than just a job? Do you believe every teen deserves a safe, supportive, and loving home? At One Hope United, you can live out that belief—literally. As a Live-In Foster Parent at Hope House, you'll provide care, structure, and encouragement to up to four fantastic youth (ages 13–17) in a family-style home that we provide for you.

This isn't your typical 9–5. It's a chance to create a lasting impact with all expenses covered in a comfortable, fully furnished home. You'll receive extensive training, ongoing support, and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with young people who need consistency, compassion, and guidance the most.

What You'll Do

  • Live in a private, fully furnished all expenses paid home provided by One Hope United
  • Serve as a positive, stable role model and caregiver for up to 4 youth
  • Create a nurturing, family-style environment using our trauma-informed Trust Based Relational Intervention Model (we train you!)
  • Support youth with life skills, school attendance, daily routines, and recreational activities
  • Partner with a team of counselors, case managers, teachers, and healthcare professionals
  • Help youth set and achieve goals for education, behavior, and emotional well-being
  • Take youth to school, appointments, and activities using an agency vehicle
  • Take youth on outings to sports events, amusement parks, museums, and festivals (with approval from leadership)
  • Keep accurate records and documentation—because good care includes great communication!
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development (we invest in you, too!)

Why This Role is Special

  • Housing Provided – Live in a beautiful, fully furnished home with no expense to you for food, household items, and activities
  • Make a Real Difference – Help teens heal, grow, and thrive in a supportive family setting

  • Part of a Mission-Driven Team – Join a caring community that believes in kids and invests in families
  • Stability + Flexibility – A consistent, meaningful role with time off and structured support.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with youth from diverse backgrounds in a respectful, equitable way
