Description:

Reputable, multi-location regional law firm client seeks a motivated Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to join its growing Greenville, SC office. The firm is recognized for its team-oriented culture, strong client partnerships, and practical, solutions-focused legal counsel.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who performs well in a fast-moving environment and is interested in helping develop and grow a thriving real estate practice.


Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate preliminary and final title opinions
  • Identify title defects, coordinate corrective measures, and resolve related issues
  • Handle residential real estate closings, including meeting with buyers and sellers for execution of loan and closing documents
  • Draft and review settlement statements, closing packages, and related transaction documents
  • Communicate regularly with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and internal staff throughout the transaction process
  • Ensure compliance with South Carolina real estate regulations and lender guidelines
  • Manage a busy caseload with strong attention to detail and organization
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and referral partners
  • Contribute to the continued expansion of the firm's real estate group


Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in South Carolina
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate matters
  • Prior experience with title review and real estate closings strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SoftPro Select is a big plus
