About the Facility
Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new 1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. Located on more than 200 acres, the facility will support a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles.
Production will include N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to 50,000 units annually by 2030. Manufacturing operations are expected to begin in 2027, with additional expansion planned for 2028.
Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and centralized operations, bringing more than 700 new jobs to the region.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in BOM management, product data management, or engineering change management within manufacturing or automotive environments
Experience working with ERP/PLM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Teamcenter
Strong understanding of BOM structures, including multi-level assemblies and components
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing processes
What You Will Do
Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy of part numbers, revisions, and quantities
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to validate BOM structures and data integrity
Support material planning and cost analysis through accurate BOM data
Administer and coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Summaries (ECS), and deviations
Track and monitor engineering changes to ensure timely implementation
Facilitate cross-functional reviews and approvals for design and process changes
Communicate change impacts across Production, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering teams
Maintain accurate records of changes and ensure documentation compliance
Support model change activities, including planning, scheduling, and production trial coordination
Assist in new product launches and mass production readiness
Perform other duties as assigned to support Production Operations Control objectives
