About the Facility:

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to build a new, state-of-the-art production facility in Greenville County, SC. This 1 million-square-foot plant will support both internal combustion and electric vehicle production and is expected to create over 700 jobs in the region.

Position Overview

Isuzu is hiring Dock Operations Supervisors and Team Leads to support launch and ongoing logistics operations. These roles are critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials through inbound and outbound dock operations.

This is a hands-on, startup environment where leaders are expected to be active on the floor, support process development, and help build operations from the ground up.

*Dock Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily dock operations (inbound, outbound, loading/unloading)
• Coordinate dock schedules, trailer flow, and carrier communication
• Ensure accurate receiving, staging, and shipment readiness
• Monitor dock performance, resolve bottlenecks, and improve efficiency
• Partner with warehouse, logistics, and production teams
• Lead, coach, and develop team members
• Enforce safety, PPE, and 5S standards
• Support staffing, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse/logistics/manufacturing experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and dock scheduling
• WMS experience (SAP preferred)
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

*Dock Operations Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dock activities (loading, unloading, staging)
• Assign tasks and direct material handlers
• Support inbound/outbound accuracy and material flow
• Monitor dock activity and prevent delays or congestion
• Communicate priorities, issues, and shipment status
• Ensure proper scanning, documentation, and tracking
• Enforce safety and 5S standards
• Train team members and support daily operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse/logistics/manufacturing experience
• Prior team lead or informal leadership experience preferred
• Experience with material handling and shipping/receiving
• WMS experience (SAP preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Environment

• On-site warehouse/dock environment
• Exposure to equipment and varying temperatures
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 lbs occasionally
• Flexible schedule (including overtime/weekends as needed)
