Logistics Coordinator

Description:

Our client in Greenville is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to support their fleet operations.This role is responsible for coordinating freight movement end-to-end while delivering a high level of service to key customers. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet customers
  • Build, manage, and track loads and pricing within an internal transportation system
  • Respond quickly to quote requests and new shipping opportunities
  • Secure carrier capacity and ensure loads are covered
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with a growing customer base
  • Resolve scheduling issues, service disruptions, and delivery challenges
  • Address customer questions, requests, and concerns professionally
  • Coordinate with carriers to resolve pickup and delivery issues
  • Follow up with shippers and consignees to identify additional service needs
  • Support team members and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role supporting external clients
  • Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Customer-centric mindset and commitment to service excellence
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $45,000-53,000 depending on logistics experience
  • Direct Hire
  • Health insurance
  • PTO

Schedule:

  • On-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5pm
