Rivet is recruiting for FabLogix A state-of-the-art facility in Duncan, SC is hiring Structural Fitters for a 1st shift opportunity. This is a direct hire (full-time) position with consistent shop-based work (no travel). Responsibilities: Lay out, fit, and assemble structural steel components including plate, angle, channel, I-beams, and gussets Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and welding symbols Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare materials to required specifications Align components using levels, squares, and precision measuring tools Tack weld components as needed to support final welding Work closely with welders to ensure proper fit-up and weld quality Verify dimensions and tolerances for accuracy and compliance Properly use and maintain tools and equipment (torches, grinders, layout tools, etc.) Follow all PPE, safety policies, and shop procedures Communicate with supervisors and QC to maintain production flow Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year of structural steel experience Strong knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and layout techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Experience working with structural steel components Ability to safely use cutting torches, grinders, and hand tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to pass a structural fitter test demonstrating layout, fit-up, and blueprint interpretation Preferred (not required, but a plus): Experience operating mobile equipment (forklift, man lift, etc.) Experience with fabrication and structural assembly Familiarity with inspection processes and quality standards We Offer: Full-time, direct hire position 1st shift / shop-based work (no travel) Stable workload supporting ongoing fabrication projects Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork Competitive pay and benefits Opportunity for growth and skill development Apply today!
