Overview

We are seeking dedicated Operators on both 1st and 2nd for a bakery manufacturing facility to join our team in Spartanburg. This role is responsible for operating all equipment involved in the manufacturing of finished goods, adhering to food safety standards, and sanitizing the machines to maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, baking, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on safety, sanitation, and operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional bakery products.

Details

2 immediate positions available on 2nd shift. Start time is 2:00 pm

2 positions available on 1st shift. Start time is 5:00 am.

May be four 10 hour days or five 8 hour days with weekends as needed depending on client workload.

Two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch break every day.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pound bags of product and you will be standing most of the day.

This is a temporary to permanent position that may allow you to be hired at 90 days after start date. Upon full time hiring, health and dental insurance is available, as well as 401K and PTO.

Background and drug screenings required.

Duties

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
Record production data and maintain accurate logs
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Experience:

Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Production: 1 year (Preferred)
Shift availability:

Day Shift (Preferred)
Night Shift (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
