Job Overview
Were hiring a Regional Sales Manager, SouthWest Region - Remote to our team! The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing customers. This role involves developing strategies to increase revenue, training and motivating the sales team, and analyzing market trends to optimize sales performance. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
This position supports and manages sales for a portion of the southern United States and must live in the assigned territory.
The role covers the following states: Northern CA, NV, UT and AZ, HI.
A Day In The Life
Providing guidance, motivation, and training to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
Developing strategies and objectives to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
Tracking sales metrics, analyzing data, and generating reports to assess team and individual performance.
Designing and implementing sales plans, promotions, and initiatives to maximize revenue and market penetration.
Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Working closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align strategies and improve sales processes.
Developing and managing sales budgets, forecasting sales projections, and managing expenses to optimize profitability.
Keeping up with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities or potential threats.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field
6-10 years of relevant sales experience (required), utility experience highly preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market data trends (required)
Must be self‑motivated, accountable, and able to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relations and work with team members of various levels and backgrounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations
Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory (Northern CA, NV, UT, AZ, HI)
