Role Description

H&W Electrical is seeking Field Technicians proficient in Trimble field layout and survey technology to support precision installation on industrial and commercial electrical projects. This role bridges the gap between project design and field execution, ensuring that conduit runs, equipment pads, and underground installations are laid out accurately using Trimble total station and layout tools.

• Operate Trimble total station, layout tools, and associated software on project sites

• Perform field layout of conduit runs, equipment pads, underground ductbanks, and electrical infrastructure

• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to translate design drawings into field-ready layouts

• Maintain Trimble equipment and ensure calibration and accuracy standards are met

• Document and report layout data and field conditions

• Provide technical support to field crews during installation

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Trimble total station — required

• Background in electrical construction, civil, or survey strongly preferred

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil construction drawings

• Strong attention to detail and spatial reasoning skills

• Proficient with Trimble software (Trimble Access, Business Center, or similar)
