Base Salary: $60,000-$70,000

About the Opportunity

We are working with a highly respected, growing top ranked law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support the litigation practice group in Greenville.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative and stable environment, without the long hours often seen at larger firms.

Note: This role is focused on complex, defense-side litigation. Candidates with primarily plaintiff-side experience (personal injury or workers' compensation) will not be a fit for this position.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • True litigation paralegal role with hands-on exposure to drafting, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Strong support structure with legal assistants handling administrative work
  • 37.5-hour work week
  • Stable team environment with strong tenure across the firm
  • Growing firm with continued expansion
  • Excellent culture and long-term career stability

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and assist with motions, pleadings, and litigation documents
  • Support attorneys throughout the full litigation lifecycle
  • Organize exhibits, evidence, and case materials for trial preparation
  • Maintain case files, discovery indexes, and document organization
  • Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts (as needed)
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and third parties
  • Manage deadlines, calendars, and case logistics

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience in general litigation or commercial litigation environments preferred (construction litigation or mass tort experience is a plus)
  • Experience supporting litigation matters from start to finish
  • Exposure to drafting legal documents (motions, pleadings, etc.)
  • Experience with trial preparation and organizing exhibits
  • E-filing experience preferred (state and/or federal courts)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Stable work history (no frequent job changes)

About the Firm

This is a well-established national law firm known for its collaborative culture, strong leadership, and high employee retention. The firm continues to grow following a recent merger and offers a supportive environment where employees can build long-term careers.
