What You'll Be Doing Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC control systems (Allen-Bradley / Siemens) for automated manufacturing equipment Support electrical system design, including control panels, field devices, and network architecture Integrate and commission paint shop systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment Modify and optimize PLC logic, HMI/SCADA interfaces, and system communications Support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning at customer sites Perform I/O checks, loop checks, and system validation testing Lead and support debugging and root cause analysis during production trials Collaborate with mechanical, process, and project teams to ensure system performance and delivery timelines Interface with vendors, subcontractors, and customers during project execution Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and customer specifications Work Environment Based in Greer, SC with project-based travel (up to 50%) Work across automotive plants, paint shops, and industrial manufacturing facilities Ability to support extended hours, weekends, and shutdown schedules What You Bring (Required) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens) Experience supporting industrial automation systems, conveyors, or process equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and startup support Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a live production environment Willingness to travel extensively and support on-site project work Preferred Qualifications Experience with automotive paint systems (E-coat, Sealer, Topcoat, etc.) HMI/SCADA experience (FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition, etc.) Knowledge of robot integration (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) Experience with safety PLCs and standards (ISO 13849, ANSI B11) Exposure to MES/SCADA integration and data systems Previous experience working with OEMs or system integrators What Sets You Apart Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Strong communication skills with both technical teams and customers A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions independently Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 Annual
