This is a fully remote position within the United States. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small, but growing AI team and help eliminate the financial complexity of healthcare. We're looking to add 2 additional senior level engineers who are motivated by highly visible, high-impact work and are excited to build and operate AI-enabled systems that other teams rely on. You'll take on complex technical challenges, work closely with partners across Product and Engineering, and help shape how AI is used across the company.

Design, build, and operate customer-facing features that are integrated into core product workflows
Bring AI workflows to production with observability, fallback strategies, and consideration for cost
Partner with product stakeholders to define when AI is appropriate vs exploring alternate solutions
5+ years of production experience in Python (additional backend languages are a plus)
