divh2Marine Service Technician/h2pThe Marine Service Technician performs all service and warranty repairs on boats, motors, trailers or ATVs in a timely and efficient manner according to manufacturer specifications./ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliTroubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical and electrical problems on respective boat, motors, trailers, and ATVs./liliInstalls all types of accessory items./liliAdvises customers on technical questions and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction/liliWater tests unit with customers to verify work performed and to explain the operation of the product./liliPerforms rigging as required./liliMaintains a clean and professional work area/liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Experience/Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school education or equivalent experience/liliHigher level technical certifications preferred/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:/h3ulliUnderstanding of electrical systems and wiring/liliAbility to communicate in a professional manner to our customers and associates/liliAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, associates and customer/li/ulh3Travel Requirements:/h3ulliN/A/li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliAbility to perform heavy lifting up to and in excess of 50 pounds/liliRequires long periods of standing and walking/liliAbility to work both inside and outside/liliProvide own tools/li/ulh3Independent Judgement:/h3ulliPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
