Manufacturing Engineer And Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Join our client in optimizing and scaling cutting-edge technologies from research prototypes to high-volume production. Combine hands-on process development with core manufacturing engineering to enhance efficiency, quality, yield, and cost-effectiveness in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

In these roles, you will:

  • Develop, qualify, and optimize processes for innovative technologies on large-format substrates.
  • Transition technologies from small-scale research to full-scale production.
  • Install, qualify, and troubleshoot new equipment; implement performance and reliability upgrades.
  • Analyze workflow, layout, and resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Estimate production times, costs, and staffing requirements.
  • Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, equipment, program management, product, and quality.
  • Coordinate with vendors on specifications, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
  • 48 years of experience in process development or scaling for precision devices.
  • Experience in industries like architectural or specialty coatings, or device-on-glass technologies.
  • Proven ability to scale new technologies from lab to production.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneurial, adaptable approach.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision on complex issues.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent standing; occasional lifting (up to 15 lb), bending, kneeling.
  • Good vision, hearing, dexterity; exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, mechanical/electrical equipment.
