This staff accountant will support the internal and external financial reporting processes, assist in the preparation of SEC filings and earnings releases, support external audit and tax preparation processes, and analyze general ledger accounts and transactions.

Duties and responsibilities include assisting with share-based compensation accounting transactions and analysis, supporting the preparation of quarterly earnings release, preparation of the SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings, facilitating the XBRL tagging process, supporting GAAP and SEC compliance over financial reporting, assisting with monitoring and assessment of financial accounting regulations and pronouncements, assisting with monitoring and preparation of state regulatory-compliant financial statements, reconciling GL accounts and clear transactions, analyzing GL accounts and transactions and supply variance explanations, supporting the external audit and tax preparation processes, following proper operational and internal controls over financial reporting and processes assigned, recording, documenting, and supporting all transactions in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, researching accounting topics, guidance, and other SEC filings, drafting technical accounting memos on the application of new and existing accounting standards, and assisting with preparing analyses for accounting project work and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required, ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment, requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, and must pass all pre-employment screening.

Preferred qualifications include minimum of 1 year of professional accounting experience, public accounting and SEC experience, financial services industry experience a plus, and multi-unit experience.
