Guidewire Business Analyst (ClaimCenter / BillingCenter Priority)

Primary focus for this role is Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter, with secondary support for PolicyCenter initiatives. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions across the claims and billing lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial trucking insurance domain knowledge, deep Guidewire platform understanding, and experience translating business needs into well-structured functional requirements within an Agile delivery environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Property & Casualty insurance
  • 3+ years of Guidewire platform experience with strong focus on ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter
  • Deep understanding of insurance claims handling and billing operations
  • Strong knowledge of commercial trucking insurance operations and regulatory environment
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for backlog management
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire ClaimCenter or BillingCenter certifications
  • Experience working with Guidewire integrations, data migration, and configuration
  • Familiarity with trucking data sources such as:
  • FMCSA
  • VIN lookup services
  • Telematics platforms
  • Fleet safety and compliance systems
  • Other Third party data
  • Experience supporting digital initiatives such as portals, automation, and self-service capabilities

Key Deliverables

  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
  • Detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA/ADO
  • Process Flow Diagrams and Use Case Models
  • Gap Analysis and Traceability Matrix
  • UAT Test Plans, Defect Logs, and Sign-Off Documentation
  • Sprint Review Materials and Feature Demonstrations
  • Business Training Guides and Operational Playbooks

  • Strong domain expertise in commercial auto / trucking insurance
  • Expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter processes

  • Ability to translate complex business processes into system requirements

  • Detail-oriented and delivery-focused in a regulated environment

Special Considerations

Physical Requirements: Constant use of vision, hearing, and communication (oral and written/in-person and via telephone). Frequent concentration, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping. Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 25 lbs.) Heavy use of computer and office equipment.

Travel/Hours of Service: Frequent travel required. Periodic work outside of standard business hours or on weekends may be required.
