BridgeWorks Staffing is seeking dedicated Shipping and Receiving staff who are ready to start and willing to work overtime.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Rate of Pay: $17/hour with increased overtime pay

Job Description:

The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping outbound orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures products are shipped on time, handled safely, and properly documented while maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with both computer-controlled and mechanically based machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and off-site warehouse shipments accurately and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading of bulk tankers and LTL trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming raw materials and components per established procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts on warehouse inventory and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for shipping records, reports, and documentation.
• Prepare and apply accurate shipping labels, bills of lading, and customs/freight documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work area at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate a forklift and material handling equipment safely.
• Exposure to a manufacturing/warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by site safety policies.
