Description:

A per diem opening is available for an experienced School Psychologist to provide specialized support at a charter school in Greenville, SC. This contract position offers flexible hours, approximately 4 to 8 hours per week as needed, working onsite with a focused caseload of five students. The role is ideal for professionals skilled in conducting eligibility meetings, assessments-including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)-and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations for students, primarily those with learning disabilities.
  • Lead and participate in eligibility meetings to determine appropriate services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to support student interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to assessments and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students diagnosed with learning disabilities.
  • Familiarity with eligibility criteria and special education assessment protocols.
  • Strong skills in conducting FBAs and behavior intervention planning.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with school personnel.
  • Availability to work onsite in Greenville, SC for scheduled hours.
