DETENTION OFFICER

Energetic, dynamic individual with a High School Diploma/GED. Minimum 18 years of age. Must be available to work any assigned shifts. Must be able to meet the physical standards of the South Carolina Criminal Academy. Clear FBI/SLED background. Must be able to provide a copy of the following: Birth Certificate, High School Diploma/GED, South Carolina Driver's License, DD214 (if applicable) and listing of addresses for the past 4 years. No criminal record, no state or federal student loans in default, and a steady job history. Education and experience incentives include the following: +1.25% /yr. of related experience; +5% A.S. degree (in Criminal Justice or a related field); +10% B.S. degree (in Criminal Justice or a related field); or +15% M.S. degree (in Criminal Justice or a related field).
