Insight Global is seeking a Mortgage Underwriter III to support a large financial services client in a business-as-usual capacity. This individual will manage a pipeline of loans through the loss mitigation process, utilizing Excel-based tools to drive underwriting decisions and preparing customer communications in Word for outbound mail delivery. The role is highly process-driven and back-office focused, offering meaningful borrower impact by helping homeowners navigate financial hardship. This is a great opportunity to build underwriting and default servicing expertise while working within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of underwriting experience
• Banking experience in an underwriting role
• Default servicing experience
• Hands-on experience with Fiserv Sagent
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Plusses

• Loss mitigation or hardship servicing experience
• Experience managing loan pipelines
• Strong written communication skills (customer letters/notices)

Day-to-Day

• Manage a pipeline of loans through loss mitigation decisioning
• Use Excel-based tools to track and evaluate loan statuses
• Prepare and send customer communications using Microsoft Word
• Handle correspondence via regular mail and UPS
• Collaborate with internal teams (minimal meetings – ~30 min/day)
• Perform back-office underwriting work (no phone work)

Exact rate is based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
