Bookkeeper

Description:

This role is the sole on-site bookkeeping function and will handle day-to-day financial operations, light HR support, and limited customer interaction. Payroll is outsourced; this role is only responsible for submitting hours.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant bookkeeping experience
  • QuickBooks experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail; work must be accurate and consistent

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting audits
  • Comfort handling light HR-related tasks and customer communication
  • Experience working independently without internal accounting support

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and pay bills
  • Invoice customers and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Enter all financial transactions into QuickBooks
  • Perform credit card reconciliations
  • Transfer financial data into IPL and support balance sheet consolidation
  • Process approximately 10–20 invoices per day with high accuracy
  • Complete weekly and monthly bookkeeping tasks
  • Support annual audits
