Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of capital transmission construction projects, including new lines, rebuilds, upgrades, and reliability-driven initiatives
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality from initiation through completion
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, Environmental, Permitting, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal, as well as external contractors and vendors
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Duke Energy safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental compliance obligations
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, cost forecasts, and status reporting
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement corrective actions as needed
Lead project meetings, communicate progress to leadership, and provide clear, timely stakeholder updates
Support outage coordination, field execution, and construction readiness activities
Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance project delivery and grid reliability
