Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - Oncology in Greenville, SC

Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with oncology expertise seeking a flexible, rewarding temporary role? We are seeking a competent and compassionate Locum Nurse Practitionerto provide vital coverage at Bon Secours - St. Francis Cancer Care Center. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in adult and geriatric oncology patients within a dynamic, stand-alone cancer center. Collaborate with a talented team and enjoy comprehensive support to ensure your success during your assignment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in Oncology
• Experience managing outpatient and inpatient oncology cases
• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly EPIC
• Ability to handle complex cases, including management of bone marrow transplants and chemotherapy administration
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in hematology and oncology clinics
• Knowledge of blood bank procedures and blood component management
• Experience with chemotherapy regimens and related safety protocols
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN or higher)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in oncology or hematology settings
• Prior locum or temporary clinical experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing expected within approximately 60 days
• Availability for scheduled call shifts and inpatient rounding during weekends
• Ability to travel and accommodate reimbursement for flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage
• Flexibility to work Tuesdays 4:30pm-8:00am, Fridays 4:30pm-Monday 8:00am; inpatient rounding on Saturdays and Sundays

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: Competitive, to be discussed based on experience
