Our client is looking for an experienced Benefits Consultant who can meet with clients. This Consultant will develop and manage client relationships, lead consulting activities, coordinate with internal client teams to complete required work, and participate in the development of the firm.

Duties include: Manage client relationships, including: establishing rapport and building working relationships with clients. Understand client issues and identify potential solutions. Attend regularly scheduled client meetings. Project management. Provide creative, innovative and strategic expertise to clients around issues and emerging developments in the employee benefits industry. Manage relationships with carriers, vendors and benefit providers, including negotiation of contracts and renewals.

Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working within an employee benefits consulting firm and/or related services environment. Experience with multiemployer and/or public sector heatlh and welfare benefit plans preferred. Candidates with CEBS and/or Actuarial credentials a plus.

Can work from anywhere in the Southwest/West Region. Must be able to attend client and team meetings in person from time to time. Travel could be up to 15%.
