Remote Full Stack Web Developer

Looking for a highly motivated Microsoft developer with ability to conceptualize and code in all levels of an enterprise web application, focused on financial analysis within the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with team members to develop software
  • Rapidly enhance current application by writing reliable, easily readable code for a scalable product
  • Effectively handle multiple and concurrent projects
  • Ability to solve problems creatively / effectively and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Be involved in all stages of the development life cycle
  • Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence
  • Fulfill technical support requests from both internal personnel and clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
  • Understanding of user experiences and a vision of the end-result, both at the product and task level
Qualifications and Skills

Required
  • 5+ years development experience in building and implementing web products
  • Solid proficiency in
    • UI: HTML/CSS/JQuery/JavaScript
    • Web Services: ASP.NET Web API 2/REST/OData
    • Middle-tier: ASP.NET MVC/C# , .net Core 2.1
    • Database: MS SQL Server incl. T-SQL Stored Procedures
  • Experience with both MVC and MVVM methodologies
  • Experience with Git repositories
  • Experience with responsive web design, and cross-browsers compatibility
  • Experience working with agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, Kanban, and TDD
  • Solid understanding with project tracking systems, such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An ability to learn quickly and work remotely
Preferred
  • Experience with consumer privacy and mortgage industry compliance requirements
  • Experience with ASP.NET Membership and Identity
  • Experience or knowledge of Telerik's Test Studio
