Our client is seeking a driven Project Engineer to support our client's civil transportation and roadway group.This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning project deliverables, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth of transportation infrastructure projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute roadway and transportation project tasks from planning through final design
• Coordinate internal project teams while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, and budget
• Support and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Assist with business development efforts and regional growth initiatives
• Serve as a technical liaison with clients, public agencies, municipalities, and DOT representatives
• Participate in professional organizations and industry events as a firm representative
• Identify opportunities for new work and contribute to proposal development and project pursuits
• Ensure design deliverables meet applicable standards, guidelines, and agency requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in civil transportation or roadway design
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain licensure in the near term
• Experience working with public agencies, municipalities, and/or private sector clients
• Demonstrated experience preparing plans, specifications, and submissions in accordance with DOT standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Proven organizational skills with experience managing design budgets and schedules
• Proficiency in CADD software with a strong understanding of project drafting standards
• Ability to work independently and produce complete, high-quality, review-ready deliverables
