Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center

• Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
• Dates of Coverage: February 1, 2026 September 30, 2026
  
  
• Call Schedule: First call for patient phone calls and hospital phone calls Tuesday 4:30pm-8:00 am, Friday 4:30pm-Monday 8:00am. On site inpatient rounding Saturday & Sunday.
• Call Ratio: One rotation every 5-6 weeks, dependent upon staffing
  Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
  
• 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 8
• How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 4
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 15
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 20
• Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting
  
  
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Required Duties: Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
• Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
