PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a high-energy and reliable Production Associate with a proven manufacturing background on behalf of an innovative manufacturer in Piedmont, SC.

This company specializes in sustainable packaging and eco-friendly bubble wrap solutions. As a Production Associate, you will be at the heart of the manufacturing process. This is a physically active role that requires mental focus-you must be able to maintain an accurate count of finished products while the machines are running at full capacity.

Production Associate Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the efficient handling and packaging of finished sustainable wrap, ensuring all orders are counted accurately and staged for shipping.

• Machine Offloading: Safely and quickly remove finished rolls or sheets of sustainable packing material from the production line.
• Bulk Packaging: Pack finished products into Gaylord containers and industrial totes, ensuring maximum space utilization and product protection.
• High-Speed Counting: Maintain a precise and continuous count of units produced. You must be able to count accurately under pressure to ensure inventory and order integrity.
• Material Movement: Utilize a pallet jack to move staged materials and push/pull heavy totes across the production floor.
• Labeling: Apply accurate shipping and identification labels to containers and Gaylords to ensure clear tracking.
• Equipment Operation: (Optional/Occasional) Utilize a forklift for less than 5% of your shift to move large pallets or containers as needed.
• Quality Check: Perform quick visual inspections of the wrap to ensure it meets the company's "sustainable quality" standards.

Production Associate Requirements include:

• Required Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with specific experience in packaging or fulfillment are highly preferred.
• Mental Agility: Exceptional ability to count and document numbers quickly and accurately in a loud, fast-moving environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts and handle the repetitive motion of pulling products off machines and pushing/pulling heavy totes.
• Schedule Reliability: Ability to commit to the Monday-Thursday 2nd shift schedule and maintain excellent attendance.
• Equipment Experience: Previous experience with pallet jacks is required; Forklift experience is a plus, though not required for the role.
• Teamwork: Strong communication skills to coordinate with machine operators and shipping teams.
