Laborer - Textile Sorting & Baling
Location: Williamston, SC 29697
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Worker Classification: Recruited Contractor
Steel-toe (6-inch) boots required
Job SummaryThe Laborer supports daily production by performing hands-on textile sorting, handling, and baling activities. This role involves manual material handling, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all products are processed safely and efficiently according to site standards.Key Responsibilities

• Sort incoming textiles according to quality, material type, and production requirements.
• Feed, load, or stage materials for baling operations.
• Operate basic equipment related to baling and material movement (training provided).
• Perform general labor duties including lifting, stacking, and transferring materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Follow daily production instructions from onsite supervisors.
• Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or workflow concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all site policies, including PPE requirements and operational protocols.

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen (no physical exam required).
• Must have or obtain 6-inch steel-toe boots prior to starting.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions are essential.
