PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a reliable and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist on behalf of our client in the Fountain Inn, SC area.

As an Inventory Control / Parts Cage Specialist, you will be responsible to track and manage inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and support overall operational efficiency in a non-climate controlled area. The right candidate must be committed to accuracy, process improvement, and effective communication across Accounting, Purchasing, and Production departments.

Inventory Control / Parts Cage Specialist Primary Responsibilities include:

• Inventory Control: Monitor the flow of products in and out of storage and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Cycle Counts & Verification: Perform regular physical and cycle inventory counts to verify system accuracy; investigate and report all discrepancies.
• Receiving & Storage: Receive and process incoming deliveries; unload, label, and properly organize materials in designated storage areas (shelves, racks, or pallets).
• Ordering & Purchasing Support: Determine when products or supplies need to be ordered and place orders as required.
• Data Integrity: Accurately input and maintain inventory data in the company's ERP system.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate inventory and shipping processes to identify and implement improvements; implement and support loss prevention strategies to minimize waste or shrinkage.
• Communication & Compliance: Communicate with other departments to provide accurate stock information; support and follow QMS guidelines and directions.

Inventory Control / Parts Cage Specialist Desired Skills and Experience include:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with inventory control and ERP systems.
• 1 year experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Strong analytical skills are required, with relevant experience in Inventory Control, Accounting, Purchasing, or Production.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and accurate recordkeeping skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (bend, twist, climb, stoop, or stand for extended periods).
• Must be reliable and responsible, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attendance at the designated workstation during normal business hours is an essential function.
