Healthcare IT Integration Analyst (EMR, NextGen) - FULLY REMOTE

Work Location: 100% Remote

Candidate location: Candidate must be a current resident of SC, NC, or GA.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Supports the implementation process, including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare applications and technologies, such as the EHR, lab, PACS, pharmacy, and related systems, in conjunction with vendors, clinical, and technical support staff.
  • Assists with the maintenance of the health IT infrastructure, including applications, databases, templates, and reporting.
  • Help with troubleshooting, triage, escalation, and provide root cause analysis for EMR-related issues.
  • Helps create reports for management and users.
  • Helps document the current workflow process for medical and mental health care providers.

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

  • 7+ Years of Experience with Electronic medical records (EMR), preferably NextGen
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Mirth Lab Systems

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

  • Experience with HL7 Messaging
  • Experience with FHIR
  • 7+ Years of Experience EMR Integration
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Healthcare IT Operations
  • Experience working directly for a State Government Agency

Required Education/Certifications: A bachelor's, degree in business administration, computer science,

mathematics, statistics, information science, health administration, biological science, or a related field, and experience in health services, project management, and information technology.

  • NextGen Connect Certificate
  • EHR Certificate
  • Practice Management Certificate
