Acute Care Occupational Therapist General Med/Surg Focus $5K Sign-On

Highlights/Benefits

• Major Non-Profit Hospital System
• Automatically qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
• Standard caseload: General medical, post-surgical, and orthopedic recovery
• Sustainable volume: Expected to see 7 to 9 patients per day
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Minimal weekend rotation: 1 shift per month
• Dedicated rehab aides on staff to assist with patient transport and room setup
• Paid Time Off (PTO) = 22 days annually
• Full-time, permanent position

About the Occupational Therapist Position: Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and have a passion for patient-centered care. We are not looking for an individual just looking for their next "job," but rather someone who wants to invest in their career to help patients understand what has happened to their bodies through their injury/condition. Education of the patient is the number one priority in helping them realize how their body will react to treatment and therapy.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Acute Care experience preferred (but strong new grads will be considered)
• Team player who adapts well to changing caseloads
• Servant leader mindset
