Job Title: Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using hand and power tools to assemble components as part of a larger assembly. This role involves identifying and locating the correct parts, assembling products efficiently, and following prescribed methods and procedures. You will maintain an accurate inventory of parts in your work area, adhere to safety and quality policies, and enter data into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Use pneumatic, electric, hand, and power tools to assemble products.

• Maintain accurate inventory of parts in specific work areas.

• Follow and adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural policies.

• Enter data in computer systems and complete necessary forms.

• Lift items weighing 50+ lbs.

• Perform crimping of cords and point-to-point wiring.

• Use wrenches and torque guns for assembly tasks.

• Follow work instructions and interpret blueprints for production assembly.

• Assemble components using nuts and bolts.

• Work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and improve processes.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.

• Ability to use tape measures accurately.

• Comfortable working in manufacturing and production environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and soldering.

• Ability to work in cleanroom, construction, and inspection settings.

• Familiarity with electronic assembly and microscope use.

Work Environment

This position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour shifts. The first shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the second shift runs from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
