Practice Setting

• Free-Standing Cancer Center
• Collaborative team of physicians and APPs
• Strong nursing and clinical support

Patient Population

• Adult & Geriatric patients
• Case Mix:
  • 65% Benign Hematology
  • 35% Malignant Oncology
  • 0% Internal Medicine

Daily Patient Volume

• Outpatient: 25 patients/day
• Inpatient (rounding/call): 20 patients/day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient & Inpatient Oncology care
• Participation in Tumor Board
• Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
• Blood Bank oversight
• Ordering tests & imaging
• Prescribing medications
• Chemotherapy administered by Oncology Nursing staff

Call Schedule

• No call required during locum assignment
• If converted to permanent: Call is 1 week every 6 8 weeks

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active South Carolina Medical License
• BLS & DEA
