Chemical Packer / Batch Mixer
3rd Shift / Mon - Thu / 4:00pm - 4:30am (Post-Training)
$18.00 /per hr (Once moved to 3rd Shift)
Greenville, SC (Cherrydale Area)
Training Schedule: Must be able to train on 1st Shift (Mon - Fri / 5:00am - 4:00pm) for 4 to 8 weeks at $17.00/hr.

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Chemical Packer / Batch Mixer on behalf of our client in the Cherrydale area.
As a Chemical Packer / Batch Mixer, you will be responsible for the precision mixing and packaging of lightweight additives for industrial use. The right candidate must be a dependable self-starter who prioritizes safety and has the physical stamina to manage raw materials in a fast-paced production environment.

Chemical Packer / Batch Mixer Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the accurate production and packaging of chemical batches, ensuring all products meet strict quality specifications and safety standards.

• Batch Production: Measure, lift, and pour bags of raw materials into hoppers to create lightweight industrial additives.
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to stage raw materials and manage inventory for upcoming batches.
• Packaging Operations: Operate specialized packaging machinery to fill drums and boxes with finished product.
• Quality Control: Perform regular QC checks throughout the mixing process to ensure every batch meets required specifications.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including breaking down recyclable materials and ensuring pallets are stocked for loading.
• Safety Compliance: Work in a strictly safe manner, adhering to all facility safety rules and chemical handling protocols.

Chemical Packer / Batch Mixer Requirements include:

• Physical Stamina: Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and climb stairs regularly.
• Forklift Skills: Previous forklift experience and the ability to pass a forklift certification test are required.
• Training Flexibility: Must be able to complete the 4 to 8-week training period on 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift schedule.
• Reliability: A proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality is essential.
• Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a production team.
• Availability: Must be able to work Saturday overtime as production needs require.
